Virtual Engineering for Railway and automotive – Development of Tools and Methods of virtual simulation for the innovation of automotive and rail sectors

Partners of the project ‘VERO’ aim to increase both automotive and rail product competitiveness by strengthening the supply-chain. The goal of the project is to create virtual tools to evaluate vehicle safety and prevention of accidents with new maintenance design of an automotive and rail system. A simulation system able to support the management of rail traffic will be developed to guide engineers in designing hardware and embedded software. The final objectives will be to develop validation procedures of the rail simulator which enhances safety and ergonomics
